Assessment of Darbandikhan Reservoir’s water for different purposes by using (WQI), (HPI) and (MI) indices

چکیده

Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the water quality of Darbandikhan Reservoir for different purposes by using an integrated approach index (WQI), heavy metal pollution (HPI) and (MI). The samples were collected from twenty sampling stations across reservoir in December 2021, selected GPS. Seven physicochemical parameters examined determine (WQI) including: (pH, turbidity, TDS, NO 3 -2 , DO, BOD 5 fluoride). Also, five metals tested (MI) indices. helps give a comprehensive evaluation area. also can overcome limitations traditional indices regarding order make outcome more accurate. results showed that mean value area was (79.1) which fall under (very poor quality) category. values (66.75) - (High affected) (14.09) (Low drinking irrigation uses respectively. However, (4.98) (Strongly (0.37) – (Pure) Reservoir’s is suitable industrial only; while, it not fit use without high process treatment. paper facilitate effective management practices quality.
